Certain characters, like apostrophes, quotation marks, and inverted commas, cannot be typed into the DaDesktop machine
This is an annoying problem that rarely crops up but depends on the type of physical keyboard, language layout, and internationalisation settings used.

This issue affects Windows only
This can be fixed by doing the following :-
- In the Windows search bar, type 'Settings'
- Click 'Time & Language'
- Click the language menu item on the left-hand side
- Then under 'Preferred Languages', click on your preferred language, and then 'Options'.
- Next, 'Add a keyboard', and select the layout that matches your actual keyboard, e.g., US keyboard layout
- Remove the old keyboard layouts by clicking on them and selecting 'Remove'
- Test this by typing single quotes ''', quotation marks '"', and inverted quote marks `.
This video also demonstrates the fix.
